DIY Halloween Projects for the Family
Halloween is right around the corner and we want to make sure you’re prepared to decorate your home with extra material you may have laying around the house…or with some items you might find at the ReStore! Below is a list of some of our favorite Halloween DIY projects to make your holiday extra spooky.
1. Mason Jar Luminaries. Grab some craft supplies you have laying around and get ready to make some unforgettable Halloween luminaries. You’ll need your basics:
Tissue paper (orange)
Ribbon (green, purple, and/or black!)
Twine or yarn
Smooth mason jars

2. Wine Bottle Jack-o-Lanterns. As simple as it sounds—grab some wine bottles, spray paint, markers, and adhesive remover.
Empty those wine bottles, use the adhesive remover to take off the labels, spray paint the bottles, use the markers to create a face, and you’re done!

3. Monster Doors. The coolest thing about this project is you can apply the faces on any door in your home! Paper plates, construction paper, tissue paper, toilet paper, some scissors, tape, and glue are all you need to decorate your home for all those scary trick-or-treaters!
